Since 1998, the reigning
Queens of the Little Miss North Carolina State Scholarship Pageant
have successfully raised money for the Masonic Home for Children
at Oxford, North Carolina. Each year, the Queens have presented
amounts ranging from $10,000 to over $20,000. Chris Richardson,
Administrator of the home, will accept this year’s check at the
annual Little Miss North Carolina State Scholarship Pageant on
July 25, 2009.
The Little Miss North Carolina Queens have made community service
their focus and selected the Masonic Home for Children as their
major organization to which they would contribute. The Queens also
volunteered for numerous other organizations during the past year.
